.The McEachern Art Center is excited to announce its summer exhibition of “Portray” featuring four local portrait artists living in the Middle Georgia community. These talented group of artists serve different approaches to defining portraiture in their body of work. From subject matter and materiality to scale and execution, the show encompasses a wide variety of works from artists of different creative backgrounds. In addition, the show will feature interactive elements where viewers can see their own selves through suspended mirrors installed throughout the gallery, painted and designed in the style of the artist. Photographers will collaborate with these artists to capture images of the community during the opening to be used for future projects as they continue to develop their work. It is always exciting to exhibit work from Middle Georgia artists and to see the creative energy that lives right here in the local community
