Situated both as a Mercer University facility and a downtown gallery, the McEachern Art Center serves as a vital link between the school’s art department and the vibrant creative community growing in Macon.
Since our opening in 2019, Our two-floor facility continues to boast museum-quality exhibition spaces on the main floor and artist studios on the secondary level, providing students with a nurturing environment to develop their work and learn. What sets us apart is our support for artists; we don't take any commission cuts from their sales and actively fund exhibitions, ensuring they can focus on their creative endeavors.
In addition to supporting artists, we open our doors to local organizations, offering a venue for their annual events. With your support, we are planning on improving the facilities from top to bottom providing better resources for creative art making. In addition to our facilities, we will continue to introduce the Macon Community to artists both local and nationwide.
